20 km from the campsite, discover Quimper, capital of the country of Cornwall.<\/p>\n

Stroll through the historic center, admire the half-timbered houses of historic Quimper and visit Saint Corentin Cathedral and its magnificent Gothic stained glass windows. Stroll through the pedestrian streets bustling with numerous shops and stroll along the quays of the Odet.<\/p>\n

Quimper is also the capital of earthenware, take advantage of your visit to the city to admire the famous HB Henriot earthenware and take home the famous Breton bowl. For gourmets, Quimper has the best pastry chefs, crepe makers, and biscuit makers in Cornwall, an opportunity to taste Breton culinary specialties.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Concarneau, walled town and flagship destination of Finist\u00e8re<\/H2>

16km from your campsite, visit Concarneau, a town of art and history, an important fishing port and renowned seaside resort.<\/p>\n

Discover the port and the walled town, and stroll through the streets of the city where many artisans and merchants are busy. Strongly imbued with the Vauban style, in Concarneau you will feel the soul of the citadels and other maritime fortresses, witnesses of a rich and eventful historical past.<\/p>\n

Pont Aven, school of painters in southern Brittany<\/H2>

30 minutes from your campsite, discover Pont Aven, village of painters.<\/p>\n

Pont Aven has around thirty art galleries around the port and the famous 14 mills river.
\nThe painters of Pont-Aven, such as Gauguin, used to immortalize the landscapes of Pont Aven and its surroundings, sources of inspiration and fascination, due to remarkable natural light.<\/p>\n

It is advisable to go to Riec-sur-Belon, east of Pont-Aven. Walk along the paths frequented by the great painters, between the ports of Rosbras and Belon, and particularly along the river between Belon and Penquern\u00e9o.<\/p>\n

Take a gourmet break and taste the famous Pont Aven pancakes and visit the city’s famous biscuit factories.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Less than 10 minutes from your campsite, visit B\u00e9nodet, a marina and seaside resort very popular with vacationers.<\/p>\n

The reputation of this resort is well established with its magnificent seafront and its walks along the Odet river.<\/p>\n

To relax, you will find a long sandy beach, thalassotherapy, numerous bars and restaurants and a casino, all in a very summer atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Pont-l’Abb\u00e9 capital of Pays Bigouden<\/H2>

Pont l\u2019Abb\u00e9, capital of Pays Bigouden, and its famous embroiderers\u2019 festival every year in mid-July.<\/p>\n

Walk to Pont l\u2019Abb\u00e9 and visit the Ch\u00e2teau des Barons museum, housed in the keep. A museum of art and popular tradition, you will find exhibitions on peasant life and the daily life of seafarers as well as costumes and the famous Bigouden headdresses, richly decorated and embroidered by hand.<\/p>\n

The largest market in Pays Bigouden takes place every Thursday on the main square of Pont L\u2019Abb\u00e9. Stroll around the stalls and taste the various Breton specialties. Regional producers and artisans offer you tasty local products, cider, honey, Breton cakes, kouign amann.<\/p>\n

Don’t miss the Brodeuses festival. Every year in mid-July the streets of Pont L’Abb\u00e9 come alive and become the scene of one of the most beautiful folk festivals in Brittany, crowning each year the queen of the Embroiderers. With the program, parades in traditional costume, bagad, Breton dance and ringing competitions (biniou and bombarde), coming from the 4 corners of Brittany.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Douarnenez, the town with 3 ports in Brittany<\/H2>

1 hour from the campsite, go to Douarnenez, and discover the town of Penn sardines. The bay of Douarnenez is a real inland bay between the Crozon peninsula and Cap Sizun.<\/p>\n

Douarnenez is undoubtedly one of the nicest fishing ports in Finist\u00e8re, very lively in the summer months.<\/p>\n

Discover the unique atmosphere of its quays lined with creperies and caf\u00e9 terraces.<\/p>\n

Take advantage of your stay at the campsite to go on an unforgettable excursion and discover the islets of the Gl\u00e9nan archipelago off the coast of South Finist\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

You can choose between a guided tour of the island or a discovery of the underwater environment via a transparent bottom boat trip.<\/p>\n
